  • Hello, I have just ran my first race(haltemprice 10k) and did it in 48.40 finishing 111th. only been running 4 months. I am interested in joining you-but have to work saturdays,would this be a problem or are races generally on sundays??

  • Hi Nell,lovely to hear from you after all this time. Of course you can have a run with us next time you are here. The club at the moment is in a very healthy state with lots of new(and very keen)members, but some of the old timers are still plodding on.

  • I would like to mention www.runningcrazy.co.uk offering great races in Europe and beyond. I would particularly mention the Benidorm Half Marathon and 10K on Sunday 29 November 2009 as flights have only just been released and are remarkably cheap. We will also be introducing a Training Camp in Majorca from next April - a new 8 lane track; indoor facilities; beach running; and a unique flood lit cross country loop.   • Hi Karen, I am also a ultra distancerunner from White City (Hull) RRC. The 24 hour track race is organised by East Hull Harriers and the event is on July 11/12 at Costello Stadium. The email address you quoted is not working correctly. When you sorted the problem let now then I will email you with the entry form for this event when it comes available by the organisers.
